Role Overview:
The Senior Business Development Manager will serve as a strategic architect for the company's growth, focusing on expanding our footprint within the corporate sector across major metropolitan hubs. This role involves navigating complex sales cycles, engaging with C-suite stakeholders, and translating technical capabilities into tangible business value for prospective clients. You will work closely with the leadership and technical delivery teams to identify market opportunities, structure high-value partnerships, and ensure that our service offerings align with the evolving needs of the enterprise market. Whether operating on a full-time or part-time basis, your primary objective is to drive sustainable revenue growth and strengthen our market positioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and cultivate high-value corporate partnerships to expand the company's client base in key metropolitan markets.
- Execute end-to-end lead generation strategies, leveraging industry networks and professional outreach to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Manage the entire sales lifecycle, from initial discovery and proposal development to final contract negotiation and closure.
- Oversee long-term account management for key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling services.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to tailor solution offerings that meet specific client requirements and project constraints.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting and market intelligence to leadership to inform strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, long-cycle corporate sales processes with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and C-level executives.
- Proven expertise in lead generation and pipeline management, utilizing modern CRM tools and professional networking strategies.
- Strong analytical mindset to evaluate market trends and identify competitive advantages in the IT services landscape.
- Ability to operate effectively in a high-autonomy environment, whether working remotely or from a metropolitan office setting.
- Minimum of 7 to 15 years of professional experience in business development or corporate sales within the technology or IT services sector.
- A degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, with a preference for candidates from premier management institutes.
