Job Description

Core Duties
The System Administrator of IT Operations will provide global IT operations Infrastructure Monitoring, Managing, implementation and ensuring all the devices are up and running. If anything, down notified by any alert systems, need to be resolved on an immediate basis.
Core Duties By Competency
- Minimum 4Yrs + System administration experience.
- In Depth Knowledge Windows servers administration (AD, DHCP, WDS and DNS.) and Linux administration
- Backups administration (Veeam software)
- Vulnerability resolving skills (rapid7,bitsight,upguard)
- VMware administration
- Storage Management (Synology, Qnap, NetApp)
- strong knowledge in scripting language.
- Guide NOC team for resolving the issues.
- Disaster Recovery Planning
- Servers Patching
- SOP document preparation and SOC/ISO audit documentation.
- Knowledge in Loadbalancer
- cloud Knowledge (AWS,AZURE,GCP )
- User Management
- Incident Handling
- Good Knowledge in servers hardware.
- Basic networking.
- Quickly diagnose and resolve system issues and outages to minimize impact.
- Antivirus (CrowdStrike, Sophos)
- Monitor and audit security logs for suspicious activities
- Research and Development for key IT infrastructure and strategies.
- Ensure redundancy and stability for all critical systems.
- Escalate/communicate issues and concerns as necessary.
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Certifications are an added advantage.
- should be comfortable with rotational shifts (A,B,EST,C)
- Ensuring that service processes and procedures are delivered and operated according to professional practices and standards.
- Managing, processing and coordinating appropriate and timely response to Incidents and Servicedesk requests.

- Take ownership for assigned tasks and be proactive.
- Perform all duties with a level of integrity and honesty that represents Patra in a positive manner.
- At least 4yrs of experience in monitoring and handing server and network related issues.
- Bachelors degree, Any IT certifications are added advantage.
- Work from home/Office
- Minimum internet speed of 50 mbps download and 10 mbps upload; Directly connected into modem; No satellite.
