Senior Manager | Communications

Overview:

Senior Manager - Communications will be responsible for directly handling and supervising a portfolio of PCG's clients across domains, providing high-level strategic counsel to clients across verticals. The person will also be responsible for new business development, and managing a team.

KRAs:

1. Responsible for strategising and implementing integrated marketing communications programs, covering PR, Social Media, Influencer Marketing and Visual Communications
2. Supervise all accounts within their purview and ensure the required mandates are met effectively, with a high level of output and quality
3. Keep abreast of current and evolving PR trends and tools to develop more effective strategies
4. Developing and sharing required media intelligence 
5. Building client relationships and maintaining a network of media contacts including journalists and industry spokespeople
6. Being involved in prospecting and pitching for new business and developing PR proposals
7. Managing and mentoring junior members of staff, leading the teams, and ensuring all processes are met
8. Promoting a healthy company culture and ensuring all the processes are effectively followed

The Ideal Candidate should:

1. Proven work experience of at least 8 - 10 years in a reputed public relations agency
2. Possess a high degree of communication - verbal and written skills
3. Possess impressive emotional intelligence and interpersonal expertise
4. Have the ability to nurture talent while maintaining the company policies
5. Be result-oriented while maintaining a high degree of integrity and upholding core company values 
6. Have good media intelligence, and an understanding of new platforms of communications
7. Have a passion for creativity, strategic thinking & innovation, and attention to detail 
8. Sound copywriting, general marketing proficiency 
9. Basic knowledge of AI / LLM tools such as ChatGPT, Bard, Writesonic and so on (further training will be provided by the Company).
10. Good industry knowledge and experience in building influential networks
11. Outstanding organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects and portfolios
12. Service-focused and sensitive to confidential information
