Job Description


Key Roles & Responsibilities
  • Drive business growth through the Agency Channel by recruiting, developing, and managing agents.

  • Identify and onboard new agents to expand market reach and revenue.

  • Build strong, long-term relationships with agents to ensure sustained business performance.

  • Achieve assigned sales targets, revenue goals, and productivity metrics for the agency channel.

  • Plan and execute channel development strategies in line with organizational objectives.

  • Conduct regular meetings, training programs, and engagement activities for agents.

  • Monitor agent performance and provide continuous guidance, coaching, and motivation.

  • Support agents with product knowledge, sales tools, and marketing initiatives.

  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory guidelines, and internal processes.

  • Prepare and submit periodic MIS reports on agency performance, pipeline, and closures.

  • Coordinate with internal teams (Operations, Underwriting, Finance, HR) for smooth business execution.

  • Agent onboarding and activation

  • Revenue and target achievement

  • Agent productivity and retention

  • Market expansion and penetration


Requirements
Key Skills & Competencies
  • Strong business development and channel management skills

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities

  • Result-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage multiple agents

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools


Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate

  • 13 years of experience in business development or channel sales

  • Prior experience in handling Agency / Intermediary Channel is mandatory

  • Local Candidate Preferred
