Director - Procurement - IT Services

The Director - Procurement will be responsible for spearheading end-to-end procurement for India as a region, supporting both local and global business requirements. The role will have a strong focus on technology services procurement, along with other indirect procurement categories.
The incumbent will drive strategic sourcing, negotiations, RFX management, vendor governance, cost optimization, and spend management, while leading a small procurement team and partnering closely with senior stakeholders across functions.
Procurement Strategy & Leadership:
- Lead and execute the India procurement strategy, aligned with regional and global objectives.
- Act as a strategic partner to business, finance, IT, and leadership teams on sourcing and commercial decisions.
- Ensure consistent procurement processes, governance, and compliance with organizational policies.
Technology & Services Procurement:

- Lead procurement for technology services, including IT services, digital, software, SaaS, cloud, and managed services.
- Support sourcing across other indirect procurement categories as required.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure value-driven and timely procurement outcomes.
Vendor Management:
- Build and manage a strong vendor ecosystem with defined performance metrics and governance mechanisms.
- Drive vendor rationalization, preferred supplier programs, and long-term partnerships.
- Conduct regular vendor reviews to ensure service quality, cost competitiveness, and compliance.
Cost Optimization & Spend Management:
- Drive cost savings and cost avoidance initiatives through strategic sourcing and negotiations.
- Monitor and manage procurement spend, ensuring transparency and control.
- Track savings and continuously identify opportunities for efficiency improvement.
Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small procurement team in India.
- Set clear goals, performance metrics, and capability development plans.
- Foster a collaborative and execution-focused team culture.
