Head - Investor Relations - Textile Manufacturing

Role Overview:

As the Head of Investor Relations, you will serve as the primary architect of our financial narrative, bridging the gap between the company's strategic vision and the global investment community.

Based in Mumbai, you will work closely with the CEO, CFO, and the Board of Directors to articulate our growth trajectory, manage quarterly earnings cycles, and cultivate long-term relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and stakeholders.

Your work will directly influence our market valuation, capital allocation strategy, and the overall perception of the firm within the financial ecosystem, ensuring that our corporate strategy is clearly understood and valued by the capital markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive investor relations strategy to enhance the company's visibility and credibility among institutional investors and sell-side analysts.
• Manage the end-to-end quarterly earnings process, including the preparation of scripts, presentations, and Q&A documents to ensure consistent and transparent communication of financial performance.
• Partner with the Corporate Strategy team to integrate financial performance metrics with long-term business goals, ensuring that market messaging aligns with internal strategic initiatives.
• Facilitate regular engagement programs, including roadshows, investor conferences, and site visits, to provide stakeholders with deep insights into our business model and competitive advantages.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and shareholder sentiment to provide actionable intelligence to the leadership team, enabling proactive adjustments to our communication and capital market strategy.
• Oversee the preparation of annual reports and ESG disclosures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while effectively highlighting our commitment to sustainable value creation.

Required Skillset:

• Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial data and strategic business plans into compelling narratives that resonate with sophisticated institutional investors.
• Proven expertise in managing high-stakes relationships with the financial community, including the ability to navigate challenging analyst inquiries with poise and transparency.
• Strong analytical acumen with the capacity to synthesize market feedback and internal corporate strategy into clear, data-driven recommendations for the executive leadership team.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to represent the company's interests effectively in public forums and private high-level meetings.
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, on-site environment in Mumbai, maintaining seamless collaboration across cross-functional teams and senior management.
• A postgraduate degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field from a premier institute, complemented by 15 - 20 years of progressive experience in investor relations, corporate finance, or investment banking.
• Proven track record of influencing market perception and managing shareholder expectations during periods of significant corporate growth or structural change.
