DevOps Engineer

About Position:

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with 8 to 12 years of experience to design, deploy, and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure. The role involves building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure and operational processes, supporting production environments, and ensuring high availability, security, and reliability of business-critical applications.

What Youll Do:

• Design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Manage and support production, internet-facing applications running on Windows and Linux servers.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and operational tasks using Terraform, AWS CDK, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Monitor production environments, triage alerts, troubleshoot outages, and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve deployment processes, system reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Implement security, monitoring, logging, redundancy, and configuration management best practices.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of cloud infrastructure.

Expertise Youll Bring:

• AWS Cloud, Terraform, AWS CDK, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitHub, Ansible, Python/PowerShell/Bash, Production Support, Windows & Linux Administration
• Experience supporting production, internet-facing systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services.
• Good experience with Terraform and AWS CDK for Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts and hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
• Experience administering Windows and Linux servers.
• Proficiency in one or more scripting languages such as
• PowerShell
• Python
• Bash
• Ability to write maintainable, standardized automation scripts.
• Understanding of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, including:
• IP addressing and routing, Firewalls, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SMTP, ICMP
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• AWS Cloud Certification(s) (Associate or Professional).
• Experience with IIS, Apache, or Nginx web servers.
• Experience with MS SQL Server and/or MySQL.
• Experience with modern Linux distributions.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience managing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), SSL/TLS certificates.
• Experience creating and maintaining operational runbooks.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proactive and self-driven mindset.
• Demonstrated learning agility.
• Strong ownership and accountability.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
