Job Description

We have an urgent requirement of an Instrument Design Engineer (Oil and Gas) for Delhi location. As a BE Instrument qualified professional with 10 years or more of experience in the Oil and Gas/Chemical/Petrochemical Industry Design, you will be responsible for the preparation of design deliverables with consideration for applicable Codes & Standards on international level. Your experience in process design of Chemical/Oil & Gas projects in an EPC environment will be crucial in this role.

Experience in EPC or Consultancy is preferred for this position. You will be expected to take ownership of deliverables and demonstrate proficiency in preparing all kinds of Instrument engineering deliverables including Data Sheet, Specifications, MR, PR, TBE & Vendor document review. Your skills should encompass various aspects such as Instrument index sheet, Instrument I/O list, Instrument process data sheet (IPDS) based on process inputs, and preparation of Instrument datasheet for temperature, pressure, flow, and level instruments.
Additionally, you should have experience in Technical bid analysis (TBA) and Technical recommendation (TR) of Instruments, Junction Box, Cables, as well as preparing documents like Instrument location, JB & Air header location on equipment layout, JB schedule, Cable schedule, and cable tray layout. Your responsibilities will also include generating interconnection diagrams & loop diagrams, wiring in IN tools using Circuit Diagrams and I/O list, reviewing various vendor drawings like GA, CBD, ILD, Wiring Diagrams, P & ID diagrams, and specifications, design of Instruments & calculations in IN tools.

Moreover, you will be involved in generating instrument loop diagrams, preparation of Hook-ups Diagram, termination details of field Instruments with IN tools & Excel, selection & sizing of various Instruments control valves, orifice plate (Instru calc), preparation of Material Take-off list (MTO), vendor drawing review (VDR) & Coordination with other disciplines, and interaction with the Project, Proposal, Procurement & Construction team.
