Job Description

    Role Overview:
    You will be leading a large-scale legacy modernization initiative to migrate core integration services built in TIBCO to a modern microservices architecture using Java Spring Boot and Spring Integration. Your role will involve collaborating with solution architects, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure a successful transformation.
    Key Responsibilities:
    - Lead the architecture, assessment, and design of existing TIBCO interfaces and services to modern equivalents using Java Spring Boot.
    - Analyze existing TIBCO BusinessWorks (BW 5.x/6.x) projects and design equivalent workflows and components in Java-based platforms.

    - Identify and document integration points including TIBCO EMS/MQ, TIBCO Adapters, database interactions, REST/SOAP-based API calls, and custom Java code snippets.
    - Guide the development team on best practices and patterns for rewriting TIBCO logic using Spring Integration, Apache Camel, or equivalent.
    - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define migration strategies, timelines, and milestones.
    - Perform code reviews, gap analysis, and optimization of the target Java implementation.
    - Support production planning, data migration, and cut-over from legacy to modern systems.

    - 10+ years of overall experience, with 6+ years in TIBCO suite of products including TIBCO BusinessWorks, TIBCO EMS / JMS, TIBCO Adapters, TIBCO Administrator, and Hawk.
    - Deep understanding of TIBCO XML configuration and the underlying generated code structure.
    - Strong command over TIBCO Activities such as JDBC/SQL execution, Publish/Subscribe over EMS or MQ, REST/SOAP API integration, file handling & transformations, and error handling/grouping activities.
    - Experience with banking or financial domain integration patterns, message standards (SWIFT, ISO20022), and transaction processing systems.
