Job Description
- As an NX CAD Conversion Developer, you will be responsible for converting CAD designs using Unigraphics software. Your role will involve creating 3D models, assemblies, and detailing while ensuring geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) standards are met. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Having 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing organization and design department.
- Demonstrating good knowledge of mechanical engineering design, mechanics, material science, vacuum engineering, and design validation techniques.
- Utilizing Unigraphics software for CAD conversion and design support.
- Providing GD&T callouts in manufacturing drawings and collaborating with design engineers.
- Understanding machining, fabrication processes, and post-processing operations.
- Showcasing strong presentation and negotiation skills.
Qualifications required for this role include proficiency in:
- NX CAD Conversion
- Mechanical Engineering Design
- Design Support
- Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing
- Unigraphics
