Manager - Finance (Supplier Credit And Treasury)

Own the money side of a global travel business.

Every Pickyourtrail trip touch supplier in 30+ countries - hotels in the Maldives, DMCs in Europe, transport partners in Bali - and gets settled across USD, EUR, GBP, AED, and SGD. Someone has to decide when we pay, in what currency, at what rate, through which credit line, and with what surplus deployed where. That someone is you.

This role spans the full stack: supplier credit strategy, forex calls, and working capital decisions that show up directly in the P&L - built on top of a payables operation you'll run with precision and progressively automate. Youll present to leadership monthly and see your decisions reflected in company margins within the same quarter.

What Youll Own

1. Supplier Finance & Credit Strategy

• Key supplier partnerships - Own commercial finance relationships with our top global suppliers - hotels, DMCs, transport and experience partners - as their single point of contact for everything money.
• Credit line design - Negotiate and extend credit terms with strategic suppliers; structure prepayment vs credit trade-offs that free up working capital.
• Payment strategy - Design the payment calendar that balances supplier trust, liquidity, and forex timing - deciding not just when we pay, but why then.

2. Treasury Strategy

• Forex management - Manage multi-currency exposure across USD, EUR, GBP, SGD, AED - track rate movements, time settlements, and negotiate rates directly with bank treasury desks.
• Working capital architecture - Own the company's working capital model - the interplay of customer collections, supplier payments, and credit facilities that determines how much cash the business needs.
• Credit facilities - Manage banking relationships and credit facilities; evaluate and structure new lines (overdraft, bill discounting, supplier financing) as the business scales.
• Investment of surplus - Deploy surplus funds into high-yield short-term instruments; build the surplus deployment framework from scratch.
• Regulatory ownership - Ensure FEMA/RBI compliance for all outward international remittances - and build the compliance framework that scales with our international volume.

3. Operational Excellence

• Payables operations - Run the end-to-end payables operation - invoice verification, approval workflows, payment runs, and vendor reconciliations - with the accuracy and discipline of a well-oiled machine.
• Compliance & audit readiness - Maintain clean, audit-ready ledgers; own GST/TDS compliance on the payables side and lead internal and statutory audit preparedness.
• Automation ownership - Champion the automation of routine AP workflows - invoice matching,

reconciliations, payment runs - using our in-house AI tooling, so effort shifts from processing to analysis over time.

• Controls & hygiene - Monitor aging, enforce approval matrices and segregation of duties, and keep overdue payables at zero - the operational hygiene that earns supplier trust and leadership confidence.

4. Leadership Visibility & Team

• Board-level reporting - Present cash flow, forex P&L, and working capital insights directly in monthly leadership reviews and board pack preparation.
• Team leadership - Build and lead a lean payables team; define what gets automated vs. what needs judgement.
• Strategic partnership - Partner with the Finance Controller on treasury policy, hedging decisions, and banking strategy.

What You Bring

• 4–8 years across FP&A, treasury, corporate finance, supplier/vendor finance, or finance operations - we care about trajectory and hunger as much as exact years.
• Hands-on experience running payables or treasury operations - you've owned outcomes, not just observed them.
• Working knowledge of multi-currency settlements, and decent GST/TDS compliance.
• Strong analytical tooling (Excel mastery)
• Evidence that you've built or improved something - a process, a model, a dashboard, a credit arrangement - not just operated what existed.
