Head – Product , Tech & Analytics

Pilgrim is looking for a senior leader to own the companys technology, product, data and AI roadmap. This role sits at the intersection of business, technology, operations and customer experience. You will be responsible for building and scaling the systems that power our D2C business, internal operations, analytics infrastructure and AI-led transformation. You will work directly with the Co-Founder and lead a cross-functional team spanning Engineering, Product, Data, Business Intelligence and AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technology Strategy & Leadership

• ● Define and execute Pilgrims long-term technology roadmap.
• ● Build a scalable architecture for all business-critical systems.
• ● Drive technology investments and prioritization decisions.
• ● Create a strong engineering culture focused on speed, reliability and business impact.
• ● Build and mentor high-performing technology and product teams.

2. D2C Product & Customer Experience

• ● Own the roadmap for website, mobile app and customer-facing digital experiences.
• ● Improve conversion rates, retention, personalization and customer journeys.
• ● Drive experimentation, A/B testing and product-led growth initiatives.
• ● Partner closely with Marketing, CRM and Growth teams.

3. Internal Platforms & Business Systems

• ● Own internal tools and platforms across operations, supply chain, finance, customer support and commercial teams.
• ● Lead ERP, workflow automation and process digitization initiatives.
• ● Improve organizational efficiency through technology.

4. Data, BI & Decision Intelligence

• ● Own the companys data strategy and analytics infrastructure.
• ● Build a single source of truth across business functions.
• ● Enable self-serve reporting and decision-making across teams.
• ● Partner with business leaders to identify high-impact analytics opportunities.

5. AI & Automation

• ● Enhance Pilgrims AI roadmap.
• ● Identify and execute practical AI use cases across customer experience, marketing, operations, supply chain and decision support.
• ● Drive adoption of AI agents, copilots and workflow automation.
• ● Ensure AI initiatives generate measurable business value.

6. Data & Infrastructure Security

• ● Govern the corporate data security framework, including access management, encryption, and compliance with DPDP Act 2023 and GDPR standards.
• ● Establish and maintain robust RBAC protocols across cloud infrastructure, BigQuery, and enterprise SaaS solutions.
• ● Implement zero-trust architecture and least-privilege models to ensure security is embedded by design.
• ● Oversee systematic security audits, vulnerability assessments, and comprehensive incident response planning.
• ● Manage vendor risk and secure third-party integrations through rigorous technical assessments.

7. Build vs Buy Decisions

• ● Evaluate SaaS solutions versus internal development.
• ● Optimize technology spend while maintaining flexibility and speed.
• ● Ensure systems remain scalable as the company grows.

Key Requirements: Experience

• ● 10+ years of experience in Technology, Product, Engineering or Digital Transformation leadership roles.
• ● Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams spanning Engineering, Product and Data.
• ● Prior experience in D2C, Consumer Internet, E-commerce, Shopify or Marketplace preferred.
• ● Experience managing teams of 10+.
• ● Demonstrated track record of scaling technology organizations.
