Role Purpose:
The Senior Manager Finance will serve as a strategic finance partner to business leadership, driving financial planning, performance management, business insights, and decision support across the organization. The role will own budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, working capital optimization, profitability analysis, and business performance reviews while enabling data-driven decision making. The incumbent will play a key role in improving financial governance, strengthening controls, driving automation, and supporting the company's growth strategy.
Responsibilities we entrust you with:
1. Financial Planning & Business Performance:
- Lead Annual Operating Plan (AOP), budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range planning.
- Develop robust financial models to support strategic decisions, investments, pricing, and growth initiatives.
- Monitor business performance against budgets and KPIs, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Deliver actionable insights on revenue growth, margin improvement, profitability, and cost optimization.
- Drive scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to support leadership decisions.
2. Management Reporting & MIS:
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting for senior leadership.
- Prepare Board, CEO, CFO and Investor-ready financial dashboards and performance packs.
- Ensure timely, accurate and insightful reporting with meaningful variance analysis.
- Build automated dashboards and KPI scorecards for business tracking.
- Standardize MIS across business units and subsidiaries.
3. Strategic Finance & Business Partnering:
- Partner with Business Heads, Sales, Operations, Product and Technology teams to influence commercial decisions.
- Evaluate new business opportunities through financial modelling and investment analysis.
- Support pricing strategy, product profitability, customer profitability and commercial negotiations.
- Prepare business cases for strategic initiatives, partnerships and capital allocation.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on financial performance and value creation.
4. P&L Ownership:
- Drive end-to-end P&L analysis for business units and products.
- Monitor revenue, gross margins, operating costs and EBITDA performance.
- Identify key business drivers and recommend actions to improve profitability.
- Track productivity metrics and operating leverage across businesses.
- Drive working capital optimization across receivables, payables and inventory.
- Monitor cash conversion cycle and liquidity metrics.
- Partner with operations and commercial teams to improve collections and optimize vendor payments.
- Support treasury planning and cash flow forecasting.
6. Financial Controls & Governance:
- Ensure integrity, accuracy and completeness of financial information.
- Partner with Accounting during monthly and quarterly financial close.
- Strengthen financial controls, policies and governance frameworks.
- Support internal and statutory audits with high-quality financial analysis.
7. Process Excellence & Automation:
- Drive continuous improvement across finance processes.
- Identify opportunities for automation, digitization and AI-led reporting.
- Build scalable reporting frameworks using Oracle ERP and Business Intelligence tools.
- Improve reporting efficiency and reduce manual interventions.

What matters in this role:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) Experience.
- 5-8 years of post-qualification experience in FP&A, Business Finance or Commercial Finance.
- Experience in FinTech, Payments, Banking, Financial Services or high-growth technology organizations is preferred.
