Job Description

As the GSOC Shift Operations Manager at Pinkerton, you will be responsible for overseeing the response to on-shift issues and the day-to-day management of assigned personnel for one of Pinkerton's largest global clients. The shifts are structured with a chain of command, starting with a Shift Operations Manager who manages multiple Supervisors, who in turn oversee Lead Operators and Operators.

In this role, you will represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence. Your responsibilities will include receiving shift pass-down information, conducting shift briefings, maintaining situational awareness of potential threats, drafting emergency communications, coordinating responses to emergencies, collaborating with the client's security personnel, and ensuring quality control and oversight for all operational functions.
Additionally, you will be involved in developing and maturing the capabilities of the Business Assurance Center (BAC), supervising knowledge management initiatives, representing the BAC in client meetings, managing incidents of workplace violence or misconduct, conducting training for Operators, and fulfilling any other duties as assigned.

To qualify for this position, you should be a graduate with a minimum of five years of experience in a high-intensity environment like a Security Operations Center, Crisis Management/Response Center, or Corporate Security domain. Effective communication skills, customer service skills, knowledge of security systems, research and analysis processes, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential. You should also be comfortable with technology, self-motivated, a dependable team leader, and willing to work all shifts and assist with overtime as needed.
The working conditions for this role include regular computer usage, occasional reaching and lifting of small objects, frequent sitting, flexibility to work all shifts, willingness to travel as required, and the mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions.
