Job Description

The job of an AlgoSec Network Security Engineer/Security Consultant involves utilizing your 10 years of firewall management experience and being certified in AlgoSec to work with AlgoSec, Cisco ASA, CheckPoint, Splunk, and FortiGate. You will be responsible for implementing firewall rule changes, revalidating firewall rules, optimizing security controls, and maintaining firewall rule housekeeping. Your expertise in NAT, VPNs, IPS/IDS, Networking, and TCP/IP will be crucial in assisting projects with firewall policy flows and firewall policy/rule design when required. You will also review and approve patch and signature updates, infrastructure upgrades, and ensure security control change compliance. Experience managing Netskope and Cisco WSA is desirable, along with holding CISSP or other industry accredited certifications. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be participating in customer stand-up meetings and providing input to network security architecture.,
