About Polygon Labs
Polygon Labs is a software development company building and developing a network of aggregated blockchains via the AggLayer, secured by Ethereum. As public infrastructure, the AggLayer will bring together user bases and liquidity for any connected chain, and leverage Ethereum as a settlement layer. Polygon Labs has also contributed to the core development of several widely-adopted scaling protocols and tools for launching blockchains, including Polygon PoS, Polygon zkEVM, and Polygon Miden, which is in development as well as Polygon CDK.
Your Role
Polygon Labs is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (India) to spearhead strategic initiatives, forge high-impact collaborations, and enhance Polygon Labs’ footprint within India’s dynamic web3 ecosystem.
Reporting directly to the APAC Head, you will be instrumental in driving adoption across diverse sectors, engaging with leading founders, enterprises, and Polygon Labs’ network collaborators, and executing key collaborations that reinforce Polygon Labs’ position as a market leader in the region.
This is a highly collaborative and hands-on role, demanding strong ownership and close engagement with developers and industry influencers.
You will identify and nurture promising projects, collaborate cross-functionally, and play a critical role in accelerating web3 adoption across India.
Your Responsibilities
Business Development & Market Growth

• Own and manage the full deal cycle—from sourcing to closing high-value collaborations.
• Evaluate and prioritize strategic inbound leads to ensure maximum impact.
• Develop and execute outbound strategies to engage top-tier founders, enterprises, and key ecosystem players.
• Provide hands-on support and resources to projects building on Polygon networks, driving adoption and success.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, startups, and financial institutions across India’s web3 ecosystem.
• Collaborate with the Global Head of Payments and Liquidity to secure Tier 1 deals in India.
• Independently close Tier 2 and Tier 3 deals to expand Polygon technology’s presence in the market.
• Strengthen Polygon networks’ position as a top 3 blockchain that developers choose to build on in the region.
  

Ecosystem & Community Expansion

• Design and lead initiatives such as Founders House, University Clubs, and web3 meetups to attract top talent and builders.
• Strengthen collaborations with developers and industry leaders, positioning Polygon technology as the blockchain of choice for web3 innovation.
• Collaborate with existing Polygon technology-powered projects to enhance their success and deepen ecosystem engagement.
  

Strategic Execution & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• 
  Work closely with marketing and PR teams to amplify success stories and increase brand visibility.
• Collaborate across internal teams (Product, Engineering, Business Development) to align India-focused initiatives with Polygon Labs’ global strategy.
• Negotiate and execute complex deals that drive sustainable growth and adoption.
  

Insights & Reporting

• Provide structured updates on market trends, competitive intelligence, and collaboration performance.
• Ensure India’s growth strategy aligns with regional and global priorities, keeping key stakeholders informed.
  

What Youll Need

• 3+ years of experience in business development, collaborations, or ecosystem growth within India’s crypto/web3 landscape.
• Proven track record of working with developers in areas such as Business Development, Developer Enablement, or Solutions Architecture.
• Deep understanding of blockchain infrastructure, web3 applications, and key industry players.
• Strong deal-making, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining alignment with broader team goals.
• Proficiency in CRM and collaborator management tools.
