Job Title: Head - Gold Loan & Branch Expansion
Role Overview:
As the Head of Gold Loan & Branch Expansion, you will be responsible for launching, scaling, and managing the gold loan business across multiple geographies. The role demands strategic leadership in branch expansion, operational excellence, customer experience, and profitability. You will lead a team of branch managers and supervisory staff to drive growth while ensuring compliance, efficiency, and high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Branch Expansion & Profitability:
- Spearhead branch expansion initiatives for gold loan business across targeted regions.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve branch-level profitability in line with the business plan.
Business Development & Marketing:
- Plan, conduct, and monitor branch and field-level marketing activities to ensure a healthy pipeline of leads and strong business conversions.
- Perform market research to identify potential customers and new market opportunities.
- Analyze customer segments and regional dynamics to refine product positioning and go-to-market strategies.
Leadership & Team Development:
- Lead, coach, and motivate branch teams and supervisory staff to achieve targets.
- Attract, recruit, onboard, and nurture top talent across geographies.
- Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, customer delight, and innovation.
Performance & Forecasting:
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics across branches and recommend improvements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts for senior management.
Operations & Customer Experience:
- Develop and execute strategic plans for gold loan products aligned with corporate goals, customer insights, and market trends.
- Design and optimize processes to deliver seamless, customer-centric experiences.

- Identify process improvements through analytics and implement best practices.
Stakeholder & Partner Management:
- Establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive business collaboration and growth.
Gold Loan Expertise:
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of gold loan infrastructure, operations, and vault management.
- Provide expert leadership in setting up and streamlining gold loan processes and operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in gold loan business operations, branch expansions, and team leadership.
- Strong understanding of gold loan infrastructure, compliance, and operational frameworks.
