Job Description
The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.
Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the solar domain (industrial, commercial, residential, or utility scale)
Generate leads through market research, field visits, and networking
Develop and present customized proposals and quotations
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders
Lead, manage, and motivate the Sales/RM team to meet and exceed sales targets.
Provide training, onboarding, and mentoring to new Relationship Managers and Sales Executives.
Conduct field visits with RMs to observe, support, and improve client interactions.
Foster a collaborative team environment while ensuring individual accountability.
Set clear KPIs and performance goals for the team and track progress regularly
Collaborate with technical and execution teams to ensure seamless project delivery
Monitor industry trends, policy changes, and competitor activity
Represent the company in industry events, client meetings, and exhibitions

Provide regular reporting to management on sales pipeline and team performance
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- 2 - 3 years prior industry related business development experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
- Focused and goal-oriented
