Our Client is a Huge Manufacturing company.
Role Objective
To lead a complete talent overhaul across the organisation in the core Engineering Industry- building and managing a recruitment team that can rapidly close open positions across departments, designations and seniority levels, including critical leadership hires for too technical positions, sales and factory operations. This role is central to the company's transformation, replacing weak talent with strong performers at speed and scale. Earlier experience in the Engineering Industry is a must.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end recruitment delivery across all departments - corporate functions, technical, sales, and factory/operations - from entry-level to leadership roles
- Build, lead and mentor a small recruitment team capable of handling high-volume, multi-level hiring
- Lead sourcing and closure of senior/leadership positions all levels, specialised in Senior levels
- Build and manage sourcing channels - job portals, consultants, employee referrals, local networks and direct sourcing - with strong reach across West Bengal's industrial and manufacturing talent pool.
- Partner with the CHRO and department heads to define role requirements, JDs and hiring priorities
- Manage the full recruitment funnel - sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation and closure
- Build and track recruitment dashboards - open positions, pipeline status, time-to-fill, source effectiveness and closure rates
- Establish and manage relationships with recruitment consultants/agencies where needed for niche or senior roles.
- Ensure quality of hire through structured assessment and interview frameworks
- Support employer branding efforts to improve the company's ability to attract talent in a competitive manufacturing/industrial market

- Strong, active sourcing pipelines across West Bengal's industrial/manufacturing talent market
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 7+ years of recruitment experience, with significant exposure to manufacturing /industrial sector.
- Proven experience hiring across functions and levels - from shop-floor and frontline roles to senior leadership (sales heads, plant heads, factory leadership)
- Experience building and leading a recruitment team, with strong people management skills
- Deep, active network in West Bengal and Eastern India manufacturing, engineering and industrial talent ecosystem
- High sense of urgency and ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-volume hiring environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills to work with department heads, the CHRO and the CMD
- Data-driven approach to recruitment with experience managing hiring dashboards and metrics
- Graduate/postgraduate degree; HR specialisation preferred
