About the Role

We are looking for highly experienced Senior IT Engineers who can independently manage end-to-end IT infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate should bring strong technical expertise, hands-on troubleshooting skills, and excellent communication especially in Italian, as the role requires interaction with Italian-speaking stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day IT maintenance and Help Desk operations, including troubleshooting issues related to networks, servers, customer desktops, and related systems (both remote and on-site).

  Participate in IT setup, deployment, and infrastructure upgrade projects.
  
• Communicate effectively with customers and vendors to identify, escalate, and resolve issues.
  
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the IT team.
  
• Design and maintain technical frameworks, protocols, documentation, and application processes.
  
• Enhance overall IT infrastructure capability, performance, and service delivery standards.
  

Requirements

• Fluent in Italian (Mandatory).
  
• Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
  (Education requirements may be relaxed for candidates with strong project experience).
  
• Minimum 10+ years of hands-on IT experience.

• Strong understanding of modern IT platforms and evolving technologies.
  
• Proficient with mainstream server hardware and Windows Server environments.
  
• Experience with Active Directory (AD) and Exchange Server administration is preferred.
  
• In-depth understanding of networks, including configuration and troubleshooting of mainstream network equipment.
  
• Familiarity with firewall systems and security policies is preferred.
  
• Strong expertise in Windows client-side systems and ability to resolve complex end-user issues independently.
  
• Proven problem-solving ability with a strong system-thinking approach.
  
• Experience working in fast-growing or dynamic business environments is an advantage.
  
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to adapt quickly to changing responsibilities.
