Finance Head - Logistics Industry - CA

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Chartered Accountant with at least 20 years of experience in the logistics industry to lead our finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee working capital management, funds management, and project management.
• Lead policy formulation, financial planning, and direct/indirect taxation.
• Ensure statutory compliance and effective people management.
• Review and enhance financial procedures, internal controls, and automated financial information systems.
• Prepare financial forecasts and coordinate budget projections.
• Manage finance and accounting operations including collections, purchase, contract compliance, payables, receivables, audits, taxes, deposits, and disbursements.
• Direct financial analysis and regulatory reporting to improve cost savings, profitability, and productivity.
• Maintain efficient recordkeeping and MIS systems.

Excellence in ensuring that:

• The company complies with Company Laws and RBI regulations, with timely filing of returns and maintenance of statutory registers.
• Optimal results are delivered in financial planning, accounts, budgeting, and working capital management.
• Investment analysis and project feasibility studies are supported, including fund management and annual planning.
• Strong relationships are established with banks and financial institutions for fund raising.
• Financial processes are enhanced to lower risk and heighten productivity through modern accounting and cost control systems.
