Job Description
- As an API Integration Developer, your primary responsibility will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement API integrations that align with business requirements. Your focus will be on ensuring that these integrations are secure, efficient, and scalable to enable seamless communication between various software applications and systems.
You will be tasked with building and maintaining API integrations, creating technical documentation including diagrams and flowcharts, and outlining processes. Additionally, you will troubleshoot and debug API-related issues, conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure reliability before deployment, and prioritize security and compliance by implementing industry-standard protocols.
Collaboration with stakeholders such as product managers, development teams, and external partners is crucial to understand business needs and achieve successful API integration. Monitoring API performance, usage, and error logs, as well as optimizing APIs for efficiency, stability, and scalability, will be part of your routine tasks. Integration across platforms like cloud, SaaS, and on-premise, while ensuring compatibility and minimal downtime, will also fall within your scope of work.
Your technical skills should encompass proficiency in API management and development standards such as REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and gRPC, along with experience in API lifecycle management tools like Swagger, Postman, Apigee, or MuleSoft. Expertise in Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) tools, iPaaS solutions, C# programming language, data integration processes, cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, microservices architecture, and database integration will be essential.
With at least 4+ years of development experience in C# dotnet core, you should have a proven track record of driving software design from Test Driven Development, knowledge of other programming languages, familiarity with Agile methodologies, strong attention to detail, excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred skills include experience with Portfolio and Project Management Tools (PPM) like AdobeWorkfront or AdaptiveWork by Planview, as well as familiarity with messaging protocols, event-driven architectures, version control tools, CI/CD pipelines, encryption, authentication, authorization techniques, and compliance standards related to data integration.
Your role as an API Integration Developer will be critical in ensuring the seamless and secure communication between various software applications and systems, thereby contributing to the overall efficiency and scalability of the organization's API ecosystem.,
