Job Description
- As a Senior Mobile Developer at Publicis Sapient, you will bring deep, hands-on expertise to the Mobile platform. You will support delivery teams through architecture, design, and building as a technology subject matter expert. Your responsibilities will include:
- Implementing robust app architectures and complex user interfaces
- Designing and coding new features, including unit tests, debugging, and defect resolution
- Following best coding practices using Apple Programming Guidelines
- Constantly researching and adopting new technologies and best practices
- Demonstrating a strong and innovative approach to problem-solving and finding solutions
- Multi-tasking under pressure and working independently with minimal supervision
- Working on high-performance consumer-facing apps
Qualifications required for this role:
- Minimum 6-8 years of experience in iOS development
- Strong technical skills using Swift
- Experience with the latest version of Swift
- Proficiency in Core Frameworks like Core Data, GCD, NSOperation Queue, Core Graphics, Core Animation, UIKit, AV Kit, and AV Foundation
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, data structures, and design patterns
- Published at least 3 iOS apps on the App Store
- Knowledge of mobile security and cryptography is an advantage
- Good working knowledge of tools such as Git, JIRA, Jenkins, or similar tools
- Experience with agile methodology is preferred
- Good communication skills and fluency in English
- Knowledge of instruments and unit test cases in XCode
- Leveraged native iOS features such as Push Notifications, Local notifications, Animations, GPS, Settings, and Contacts
- Experience in Performance Tuning the app
- Experience integrating third-party frameworks using CocoaPods and Carthage
- Worked with logging and capturing user navigation and app usage to Google Firebase and Crashlytics
- Experience in designing and developing user interfaces using XCode, Interface Builder, and Storyboard with Size Classes and Auto layout
- Experience using Instruments and diagnosing memory leaks and crashes
- Understanding of Multi-threading, asynchronous concepts
- Deep Understanding of design patterns such as Observer, Factory, Adapter, and Singleton
- Understanding of MVC, MVVM, VIPER, or similar patterns
