Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science & Engineering or Similar Field

Responsibilities:

• Lead and drive test automation and SW QA for different components.
• Assist with manual testing for those components that are not easily automated.
• Work with software developers to understand the software and propose a QA plan accordingly.

• Able to add testing infrastructure support for unit test/isolation, limited logging, and selective testing.
• Participate in cross-functional project teams with scientists, software quality, technical support, and other engineers.
• Adhere to software development and source control processes

Must have:

• Candidate must have Total 5+ years of experience in IT Industry
• 3+ years of experience in Automation Testing, QA.
• 1+ years of experience as a QA hands-on Lead or QA hands-on Architect.
• Strong experience in coding using Java, selenium and TestNG/JUnit Strong experience in preparation and execution of Test Scripts for Functional and Non-Functional Testing.
• API automation experience using rest assured or similar tech Postman/SoapUI experience.
• Experience in developing Automation Frameworks from scratch.
• Experience with BDD using Cucumber and TDD Experience with Atlassian suite, Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket Experience with Code repositories - GitHub and CI tools like Jenkins/Bamboo
• Work as a member of an Agile SCRUM team delivering high-quality software in sprint environment.
• Collaborate with product owners to understand requirements, new features, and resolve issues.
• Document software issues and enhancement requests and assist the development of comprehensive steps for duplication of the defects found while performing manual functional, integration, and regression tests.
• Convert manual regression scenarios to automated test cases.
• Ensure that automated tests are integrated and executed reliably in the CI/CD environments.

• Help diagnose, reproduce, and test fixes.
• Ability to write SQL database queries.
• Experience in Agile Software Development (Scrum and Kanban) Exceptional defect analysis and triaging skills.
• Strong communication skills

Nice to have:

• Experienced in SQL Joins and DB Testing Knowledge or experience with any mocking or virtualization tool sets.
• Experience with any performance testing tools JMeter, K6 etc.
• Experience in any one of the following tools:

a. TOSCA

b. Q-test

c. Azure Test Plans
