Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid AI/ML Intern role based in Chennai, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. Interns will support the development and evaluation of AI and machine learning models, focusing on demography-specific inference and bias analysis. Day-to-day tasks may include data preprocessing, exploratory data analysis, model training and tuning, performance benchmarking, and documentation of findings. Interns will collaborate with senior engineers and data scientists to design experiments, validate models against localized datasets, and contribute to internal tools that improve inference workflows. The role also involves preparing clear reports, presenting insights to the team, and following best practices in responsible AI and data governance.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and model evaluation techniques.
• Experience with programming languages commonly used in AI/ML, such as Python, along with libraries like NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, or similar.
• Understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and handling real-world datasets.
• Interest in responsible AI, bias detection, fairness in machine learning, and regulatory considerations for AI systems.

Get Hired
• Ability to analyze results, communicate insights clearly, and document experiments in a structured manner.
• Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related technical field.
• Comfort working in a collaborative environment, with openness to feedback and a willingness to learn new tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with basic software development practices (version control, testing) and experience with Jupyter Notebooks or similar environments is a plus.

Mandatory On-site - Stipend Range - 10,000 - 20,000 INR (Based on Performance, Potential to absorb in the company).
