Qentelli - Technical Product Manager

Job Summary:
We're hiring a Technical Product Manager who can hold the platform's integrations and data flows in their head, turn that into a clear product vision, and take it through to a shipped, adopted result. You'll spend real time in the technical weeds, reading integration docs, reasoning about data models, and prototyping ideas yourself before handing them to engineering. You own the roadmap and you own delivery.
Technical Skills We're Looking For:
This is a product role, not an engineering role. You won't be writing production code day to day, but you need to be comfortable enough with code and systems to prototype, pull data, or debug something yourself when it matters.
Our stack: Node.js, TypeScript, Express, and Drizzle on the backend. React, TypeScript, Zustand, and TanStack on the frontend. Postgres for the database, Redis for caching, and JWT for authentication. Event streaming runs across services, with Azure Blob Storage for files. Our AI layer runs on Python, Streamlit, ChromaDB, and RAG.
- Can read API docs and data models without engineering translating
- Comfortable reading and reasoning about a TypeScript codebase, front end and back end
- SQL literacy, comfortable querying Postgres directly to pull and interpret data
- Understands authentication (JWT), event-driven architecture, and third-party integrations
- Can write or edit a simple TypeScript or Python script for a prototype or data pull

- Familiarity with RAG pipelines and vector databases (like ChromaDB) is a strong plus
- Hands-on experience with Node.js, React, TypeScript, or Python is a strong plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the product vision and roadmap for an AI-first, agentic operator experience.
- Balance near-term commitments against longer-term platform and AI investment.
- Get deep enough into integrations and data flows to make calls without an engineer translating for you.
- Define where AI recommendations or automation remove manual work, and set the guardrails that make it safe.
- Write specs and acceptance criteria engineering can build against the first time, including analytics requirements.
- Run discovery with operators and consumers, and turn findings into prioritized problems.
- Track your initiatives through delivery, flag risk early, and present results to leadership clearly.
What You Bring:
- 6+ years in product management, including 2+ years owning something with real technical complexity.
- A track record of shipping outcomes you can point to specific metrics for, not just shipping features.
- Experience defining requirements for AI/automation features, including guardrails and failure modes.
- Strong prototyping instincts: comfortable with design tools, no-code platforms, or AI-assisted prototyping.
- Sharp communication that flexes between an engineering deep-dive and a concise executive update.
- Experience designing for time-constrained, non-technical, or mobile-first users.
- A bias toward ownership: you finish what you start and flag problems before they compound.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in hospitality, travel, marketplace, or commerce platforms.
- Prior experience with loyalty, payments, or booking/reservation systems.
- Experience defining requirements for conversational or voice-based AI interfaces.
