Job Summary

The Buyer Associate is responsible for supporting procurement and sourcing activities to ensure timely and cost-effective purchase of goods and services. This role involves supplier coordination, purchase order management, price analysis, stakeholder communication, and compliance with procurement policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in procurement systems.
• Review purchase requisitions and ensure accuracy before order placement.
• Coordinate with suppliers for quotations, order confirmations, and delivery schedules.
• Track orders and follow up on open deliveries to ensure on-time fulfillment.
• Resolve supplier and invoice-related issues in collaboration with Accounts Payable and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain procurement data, supplier records, and purchasing documentation.
• Support sourcing activities including RFQ/RFP processes and supplier evaluations.
• Analyze pricing, spending trends, and purchasing data to identify savings opportunities.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, operations teams, and suppliers to meet business needs.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Sourcing, or Supply Chain Operations.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Ariba, or similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and purchase order lifecycle.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
