QMS Manager / Team Lead
Job description
- To Act as Management Representative (MR) to manage, design, implement, maintain, monitor and continually refine the formal Quality Management System (QMS) being followed with in the department
- Prepare department specific formal management & quality policies in accordance with defined quality standards
- Manage, design, prepare and validate documentation for all controlled processes, ensure that personnel understand the documents, and maintain the overall QMS documentation as per authorized document version
- Ensure department personnel are adequately trained in all organizational policies, Objectives, Standard Procedures, Work Guidelines & Work Instructions and that staff remain competent in all controlled processes/Group Quality Standards and accordingly ensure reassessment of competence
- Perform periodic formal review of QMS and the associated controlled documentation
- Establish control systems (quality key figures, audits, project plans) to assure process compliance and continuous improvement.
- Develop QM specific guidelines and necessary templates to perform process / improvement project specific activities.
- Conduct periodic system audits and co-ordinate for effective implementation of measures.
- Monitor KPI in functional areas with analysis, compilation of reports and follow up for relevant Action plan.
- Coordinate for Internal / External Audits towards QMS and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for identified measures and ensure effective implementation of corrective actions and long-term solutions.
- Ensure relevant compliance to Quality Systems by External Service Provider (ESP).
- Identify and assess training needs of departmental staff through job analysis and career path in consultation with the section heads and draw an overall / individualized training & development plan that addresses needs and expectations.
- Organize process excellence workshops and undertake personnel competency development projects and provide optimal framework for effective implementation of the measures identified.
- Formally report via minute of meetings or written reports on a regular basis to the Head of Department on all aspects of QMS, including internal audit results, analysis of operational trends, risks or problems identified.
Accountability:
- Accountable for compliance to International Standards as QMS.
- Accountable for interpretation and compliance of Group Quality Standards in all logistics areas.
- Accountable for effective closure of all internal / external audit points.
- Accountable for overall QMS documentation of the department.
- Accountable for effectiveness of the competency development program for the departmental staff.
- Authorized to perform changes to QM documents and release Process Standards / Guidelines / Instructions & Formats.
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, Process Audit, Quality Tools & Risk Management
- Knowledge of Information Security Management System (ISMS 27001) & Know-how of SDLC concepts
- Must have excellent Analytical Skills and Problem-Solving Skills, Presentation skills,
- Six Sigma
- Must have experience in Project Management, SAP, MS Office
- Must have excellent Business Etiquettes, Conflict Management, Problem Solving Skills, Leadership Skills & Presentation skills
Education & Experience
- Graduate in any stream with MBA and Internal / Lead Auditor Certificate for ISO 9001.

Desired Candidate Certification:

Experience:
- Minimum 10 to 15 Years of Experience in Quality Management System role in IT/Service/Manufacturing Industry or ISO Certification Body.
