Finance Director – Gaming, Betting, & Gambling

We have an amazing career opportunity for a Finance Director to join a leading sportsbetting platform in Dubai. This team are opening their brand new offices in the UAE, and they’re looking for you to be responsible for the efforts, results, and success of their finance department. Your key job responsibilities as the Finance Director in Dubai will include:

• Oversee, review, and adhere to the budgets for each business department


• Assist in company-wide budgetary planning


• Ensure that all of the company’s financial practices are in line in statutory regulations and legislation


• Analyse the financial climate and market trends to assist senior executives in creating strategic plans for the future


• Interpret complex financial information and provide updates and information as needed


• Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions
  


• Supervise financial assistants/ manager and other employees in the facilitation of day-to-day operations, including tracking financial data, payments, payroll, etc.


• Prepare official reports on a monthly and annual basis


• Seek out methods and practices to minimise financial risk


• Contract auditing services to ensure financial monitoring is up-to-date


• Maintain a policy manual for the finance department


• Work with human resources employees to secure candidates who will be an asset to the finance department


• Understand the operational aspects of the business and gaming industry in general to align the financial aspect with the operational needs in the current business and the future strategy


• Identify opportunities for investment in the industry and provide analysis on the investments


• Manage and report on all financial functions as well as foreign currency transactions

Requirements for this Finance Director job in Dubai:

• Advanced degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field


• Extensive experience in a similar finance role
