JOB SUMMARY:
As a Finance & Accounts Intern, you will support the finance team in managing day-to-day accounting and financial operations. This role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to core finance functions, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, reporting, and administrative finance tasks. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial records and gain valuable practical experience in a professional finance environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with day-to-day accounting activities, including data entry and record maintenance
* Support accounts payable and receivable processes (invoices, receipts, reconciliations)
* Help prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and summaries
* Assist with bank and account reconciliations
* Maintain organized financial records and documentation
* Support month-end closing activities as required
* Assist with audits and compliance-related tasks
* Perform basic financial analysis and reporting support
* Provide general administrative support to the finance team

* Working Hours: The role is either full-time or 25 hours per week; depending on your availability if you are studying.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
* Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
* Basic understanding of accounting principles
* Proficiency in MS Excel (knowledge of formulas is an advantage)
Requirements:
* Must possess a valid UAE residence visa.
* Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
* Good organizational and time-management skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desirable Skills:
* Exposure to accounting software (e.g. Sage, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
* Knowledge of financial reporting standards
* Prior internship or coursework in accounting or finance
