Job Description

Role: Inside & Direct Sales Intern

Location: Hyderabad

Type of job: Full-Time

Experience: 0.6–3 years

Responsibilities:

  • Generating new business opportunities through field sales activities and inside sales channels.
  • Identifying potential customers through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and field visits.
  • Presenting company products to prospective clients both in person and via virtual meetings.
  • Conducting market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to drive long-term business growth.
  • Coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery for new clients.
  • Meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly business development targets.
  • Following up on leads generated through marketing campaigns and referrals.
  • Preparing and negotiating business proposals, quotations, and sales contracts as per company requirements.
  • Ensuring prospects are well informed about pricing, features, and value propositions.
  • Tracking and analyzing lead conversion and sales performance metrics.
  • Collecting customer feedback and sharing insights with management for process improvement.
  • Resolving client queries and concerns promptly to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly business development reports for senior management.
  • Staying updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record in SAAS sales or business development will be an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience or interest in both field sales and inside sales activities.

    Strong interpersonal, networking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good negotiation and convincing skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel locally for field sales activities when required.
