Job Description
- You are a Data Engineer - Enterprise Data Support who plays a critical role in ensuring smooth operations across enterprise data platforms. Your strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills are essential to simplify complex issues, manage data-related incidents, and collaborate with technical teams for long-term solutions.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring, managing, and resolving Jira tickets related to enterprise and reference data issues.
- Conducting initial triage of issues, assessing severity/urgency, and assigning them to the right teams.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve problems.
- Providing regular stakeholder communication and updates on issue resolution.
- Documenting troubleshooting steps and building a knowledge base for recurring problems.
- Working with L3/engineering teams on root cause analysis and long-term fixes.
- Supporting data integrity, governance, and accuracy across systems.
- Participating in recurring operational review meetings and progress updates.
Your qualifications should include:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in data engineering, data operations, or enterprise data support.
- Strong knowledge of data management concepts and data troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Jira or other ticketing systems.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.

- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exposure to BI/analytics platforms (e.g., MicroStrategy) is a plus.
- Experience with ThinkFolio, Aladdin, or similar platforms is advantageous.
