Statistician / Data Scientist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Statistician / Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in statistics, machine learning, and data analysis, along with hands-on experience in developing predictive and analytical models. The candidate should be capable of transforming complex data into actionable insights and delivering data-driven solutions to solve business problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, validate, and deploy statistical and machine learning models.
• Perform data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and business insights.
• Apply techniques such as classification, clustering, regression, and time-series forecasting.
• Develop analytical applications, dashboards, and visualizations.
• Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and recommendations.
• Document methodologies, findings, and model performance.
• Stay current with advancements in statistics, machine learning, and AI.

Required Qualifications

• Masters degree in Statistics (mandatory).
• Proficiency in Python & R, including relevant machine learning libraries.
• Experience in developing and validating statistical models.
• Knowledge of modern machine learning techniques, including classification, clustering, and time-series forecasting.
• Familiarity with RShiny, Dash, Streamlit, JavaScript, and HTML5 is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Self-driven, able to work independently, and committed to delivering projects on time.
