We are a leader in the multi modal intercity mobility segment and have revolutionized intercity bus travel through IntrCity SmartBus branded fleet of buses. The unique full stack marketplace model provides a complete traveler experience with several bus operators as its marketplace partners. Currently, the brand is running a fleet of 84 IntrCity SmartBus across 18 hubs, covering 65 destinations and serving nearly 400,000 travelers per month. IntrCity SmartBuses offer a wide range of features that make travelling a comfortable experience for the travelers. All buses are equipped with on-board washrooms, full Wi-Fi connectivity, Automatic passenger information system and on-board infotainment. To ensure the safety of the passengers, each bus has CCTV cameras, GPS, a state of the art AI enabled driver alert system and alcohol tests for the drivers. 

Job Responsibility

·         Responsible for all type of servers, Ruby on Rails API's and all databases like redis, mongo and mysql

·         Responsible for development of web applications and RESTful API.

·         Responsible for maintaining existing web applications and create back-end components

·         Responsible for connecting the application with the other web services

Desired Candidate Profile

·         BE/B.Tech degree from Tier 1 Engineering College (Computer Science- Preferred)

·         Min 2 years of working Experience on ROR (Ruby on Rails)

·         Know MySQL. Some exposure/experience to MongoDB, Redis and Sphinx, NGinx will be a big plus

·         Excellent skills with Javascript, HTML 5, CSS 3, jQuery, SQL. Good exposure to Linux

·         Will work on 3rd party API integrations.

·         Understanding of the full product development life cycle

·         Understanding of Object Oriented concepts, data structures and algorithm

·         Knowledge in writing cross-browser and mobile code

·         Knowledge JSON Parsing and Web Services

·         Excellent written and oral communication skills, judgment and decision making skills, and ability to understand and coach/mentor others, show high level of ethics and team work

Key Skills:

REST APIs, optimization and handling of large dataset - desktop and mobile. Usage of GIT and deployments using Capistrano

 Experience- 3-6 years
