Employee Relations Manager

Position: Employee Relations Team Lead

Location: Chennai

Reporting To: Domain Head – Employee Relations

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a high-performing employee relations team.
• Foster industrial harmony by managing union negotiations and employee grievances effectively.
• Partner with production and other departments to ensure smooth operational workflows.
• Drive employee engagement activities, including reward schemes and morale improvement initiatives.
• Establish strong internal and external networks to benchmark and implement best practices.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and ER practices, maintaining a positive workplace atmosphere.
• Develop systems and processes to maximize team productivity and organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications & Experience:

• MBA, MSW, or MLM with a specialization in HR or IR.
• Minimum of 12 years of total experience, with at least 8 years in employee relations or IR roles.
• Proven experience in handling union negotiations, grievance redressal, and labor law compliance.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
