Role Overview:

As a Vice President of Investment Banking, you will spearhead the strategic oversight of middle office operations, ensuring the seamless execution of the trade life cycle and the integrity of core transaction processing. You will act as a pivotal bridge between global stakeholders, internal technology teams, and high-value clients, driving initiatives that enhance data quality and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

• Direct end-to-end middle office operations to ensure accuracy in trade life cycle management, thereby minimizing operational risk and enhancing settlement efficiency for global clients.
• Lead large-scale data management and reference data governance initiatives to provide a "single source of truth," enabling stakeholders to make informed, data-driven investment decisions.
• Orchestrate complex client engagement strategies, serving as the primary escalation point for operational queries to ensure long-term partnership stability and service excellence.
• Implement robust data quality frameworks and automated monitoring tools to identify and rectify discrepancies in core transaction processing, ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory standards.
• Drive sophisticated data mining projects to uncover operational bottlenecks, providing senior leadership with the insights necessary to optimize workflows and reduce overhead costs.

Required Skillset:

• Demonstrated expertise in managing complex investment banking middle office functions, with a proven ability to oversee the entire trade life cycle across multiple asset classes.
• Exceptional proficiency in data management and reference data architecture, with the ability to translate technical data quality metrics into strategic business outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, capable of navigating cross-functional environments and influencing senior leadership across global offices.
• Advanced analytical capabilities in data mining and process re-engineering, with a focus on improving core transaction processing speed and reliability.
• A postgraduate degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field from a premier institute, complemented by 15-23 years of progressive experience in the financial services sector.
• High adaptability to a hybrid work environment, maintaining consistent performance and team leadership while operating across Mumbai, Thane, and Navi Mumbai hubs.
