Job Description
Position : Sales Manager
Key Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Achieve predetermined Monthly sales targets.
- Identify, select, and coordinate with potential clients through his skill and network.
- Generated leads and inquiries and identified opportunities relevant to coal sales.
- Work closely with customer service, quality control, operations, safety, and credit.
- Conducted field, plant, and head office visits for the allotted client list and executed selling parameters that conform to SMs' SOPs.
- Preparation and submission of proposals with the support of the backend
- Achieving technical and commercial closure with clients.
- Attending and closing client negotiations
- Possess knowledge and ability to interact with sub-vendors / suppliers
- Conduct presentations at client premises
- Support the backend team in fulfilling documentation requirements about sales orders.
- Familiar with CRM systems and tools
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industrial clients.
- Can get work orders from respective clients (related to industries that use coal as a fuel source).
- Coordinate actively within the sales department to fulfil and execute coal sales.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Do problem-solving for unloading on client-site
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Travel to meet with designated clients and attend industry-specific events
- Build network/contacts with purchase/procurement persons of various industries of Distilleries, cement plants, fertilizers, chemicals, textiles, paper mills, sugar mills, and others
- Staying current with local government regulations and having experience handling a team are mandatory requirements.

Required Qualifications
Education: Master&aposs degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: Experience of 3 to 5 years of B2B industrial sales experience is preferable.
