Role: MEP Associate - Mechanical

Job Summary:

Execution of all drainage, storm water, water supply, LPG/PNG and firefighting systems for all residential towers, retail and office buildings, as per approved layout drawings within specified timelines and quality specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform regular inspection on all equipment and materials and assist in installation & fabrication of same if required.
2. Manage and perform tests on various materials and equipments like pipes, pumps, valves and maintain knowledge on all product specifications and ensure adherence to all required standards.
3. Coordinate with architectural and civil teams for satisfying requirements for all plumbing projects
4. Evaluate all design drawings, GFC drawings for constructability according to required quality and functional specifications.
5. Monitor installation and perform tests on various water, gas and sewage lines for all residential and commercial buildings.
6. Install and commission pumping systems, WTP and STP.
7. Supervise all plumbing work and provide certification to all contractor bills.
8. Perform regular inspection of all materials and works for all plumbing activities.
9. Collaborate with all consultants and contractors for all plumbing related work.
10. Ensure IGBC green building norms are adhered to for plumbing and water supply works for green building requirements

Requirements:

• Diploma/B.E in Mechanical Engineering.
• 4-7 years of experience
• Should be well versed with plumbing, water supply and treatment and firefighting infrastructure works.
• Ability to study detail AutoCAD drawings related to plumbing firefighting, water supply, storm water, drainage and LPgas works, point out deviations and instruct contractors and team members for execution of plumbing fire fighting works
