General Summary
RGA APAC HR is seeking an HR Operations team member who is passionate about service delivery and creating an exceptional employee experience. In this role, you will play a critical part in the HR Shared Services Center, ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations across the region. Your responsibilities will include managing end-to-end HR processes, overseeing payroll and benefits administration, and maintaining HR information systems with a strong focus on data accuracy and governance. You will also be involved in reviewing and improving transactional HR processes using lean principles to drive efficiency and compliance.
This position will support HR operational activities across India market, ensuring timely and accurate execution of payroll, benefits, and other HR services. In addition, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including the implementation of automation and digital solutions to enhance operational effectiveness. Key Responsibilities
HR Shared Service Operations
- Professional delivery and flawless execution of HR transactions throughout the employment lifecycle and Operational HR task within our centralized Shared Service Model.
- Manage a variety of HR processes in accordance / compliance with India policies and local regulations.
- Enhance the control in the process and system execution for any transaction task.
- Ensure the Highest Data Quality and Integrity for any transaction in Workday System
- Administer employee benefits programs, including onboarding of new hires, annual renewals of group insurance, EWAP, GMC top‑ups, and ongoing employee communications.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee queries related to benefits, payroll, PF, hospitalization, OPD, and related grievances.
- Manage end‑to‑end payroll operations, including collection of payroll inputs, monthly processing, disbursement, full and final settlements, and year‑end activities.
- Coordinate with payroll vendors and internal teams to resolve payroll inputs, billing queries, statutory payments, and one‑time service payments.
- Ensure compliance with local labor and statutory requirements, including preparation and submission of monthly, half‑yearly, and annual statutory filings and returns.
- Maintain statutory records, mandatory workplace displays, POSH governance activities, and updates to HR policies, handbooks, and HR systems.
- Support global mobility activities, including expatriate hiring, shadow payroll coordination, and data provision to external tax advisors.
- Perform payroll and benefits reconciliations, including CTC reconciliation, one‑time payment validation, and support for audits and internal controls.
- Manage and coordinate employee inquiries within SLA. Work together with HRBPs and COEs to resolve complex queries and propose solutions
- Guide employees and managers in using Workday and other HR systems facilitating technology adoption. This is included the change management initiative that will impacting the audiences in the market.
- Champion the point of contact for HR & Payroll Operations between the stakeholder and COEs to execute strategy and other initiatives where is applicable
- This role aims to streamline HR and Payroll Operations, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall employee experience by delivering consistent and accurate HR services to the organization.
- Optimization and Enhancement Workday Human resources management system – Requires a blend of project management skills, HR Domain Knowledge, and expertise in the Workday Platform to support on this responsibility
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in HR Operations / Shared Services/Payroll/Benefits.
- Experience working in a multinational or regional shared services environment is preferred.

- Strong working knowledge of HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
- Practical understanding of payroll and benefits concepts, statutory requirements, and data dependencies.
- Experience using HRIS systems (Workday strongly preferred); payroll system exposure is an advantage.
- Strong data management and validation skills with high attention to detail.
