Job Description

As a Developer specializing in Digital Consumer experiences, your primary responsibility will be to create engaging features using web technologies. This includes developing functionalities such as product search, order management, promotions, store locator, and social ecommerce features. Collaborating with the architect, you will establish implementation processes, quality gates, and standards to ensure the delivery of high-quality application code.

Your role will involve diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to web technologies, with a focus on Java/J2EE. Ecommerce knowledge will be beneficial in this role. Working closely with the product and business teams, you will translate requirements into comprehensive specifications and provide guidance to team members on design and implementation aspects.
To excel in this position, you should possess a Graduation degree in any Specialization and demonstrate proficiency in J2EE, Spring Framework, and Hibernate. A solid understanding of JVM, Java Memory Model, and clean coding practices is essential. You should be capable of writing unit tests, implementing automated testing platforms, and be well-versed in object-oriented programming and relational databases.

Experience with open-source technologies, tools like Ant, Maven, Gradle, and code versioning tools such as GIT is desirable. Familiarity with CI/CD processes, design patterns, architectural principles, and microservices is crucial for success in this role. A strong grasp of RDBMS systems like MySQL and basic knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Elasticsearch will be advantageous. Additionally, a deep understanding of the eCommerce domain is required for this position.
