Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor incoming quality of supplier parts and ensure compliance with drawings and standards
- Analyze rejections, resolve line issues, and drive corrective actions
- Lead supplier quality improvement through audits, CAPA (8D/Why-Why), and PPM tracking
- Support new part development, PPAP approval, risk assessment, and smooth part launch
- Review and manage supplier performance through reports, dashboards, and review meetings
- Drive root cause analysis, continuous improvement, and reduction of defects, rework, and cost
Education :
- Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Experience :
- 3 to 6 years of experience in
- Supplier Quality Assurance
- Vendor Quality / Incoming Quality
- Mechanical parts manufacturing Sheet Metal & Welded Assemblies / Suspension (automotive preferred)
Skills & Competencies
- Basic understanding of mechanical parts, drawings, and tolerances
- Experience with incoming inspection & supplier quality processes
- Exposure to supplier audits and quality improvement activities
