Draftsman – CAD

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field, along with a Diploma or Certification in CAD Designing
Position Overview:
Road Shield Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman CAD to support our engineering and project teams through accurate technical drawings and design documentation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks, and a sound understanding of infrastructure or mechanical project layouts.
Key Responsibilities:
Create detailed technical drawings and design layouts using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
Develop 2D and 3D models for project components based on engineering inputs

Revise drawings as per feedback from engineers and project managers
Ensure designs comply with project specifications, standards, and industry codes
Maintain version control and proper documentation of all design files
Coordinate with site engineers and consultants to incorporate changes or clarifications
Assist in preparing technical documents and construction details
Ensure timely delivery of accurate drawings for site execution and client submission

Key Competencies:
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks is mandatory
Strong understanding of civil/mechanical drafting and design principles
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Good organizational and file management skills
Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into drawings
Strong communication skills to coordinate with various project stakeholders
