Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Category Manager is the leader of the highly visible, growth- oriented Corporate & Key Accounts team handling high profile complex corporate & key customers along with the sourcing & vendor development. This roles core responsibility is to provide leadership and build a strategy to support to RS Indias rapid growth & business objectives.
This position is responsible for developing Strategy, achieving set objectives through active collaboration across teams;
- Sales growth & Sourcing for alternate product range from across the North / PAN India with direct responsibility of select Corporate accounts in the region
- Effectively knowing how to profile a corporate account to determine RS Indias available market and key customer stakeholders to promote more growth
- Partner with the Inside Sales Head, team members across Field Sales & Inside sales, Support teams department head and the Country Manager, to build a strategy on how to communicate and grow an account across west region contributing the most towards Indias turnover & overall potential
- Facilitate relationships with our strategic suppliers so they can be true partners with RS India throughout our corporate & key customer’s locations

- Measurement of success include new customer acquisition rates, renewal rates, up-selling, cross-selling, customer satisfaction and contribution to overall sales team and business success
Preferred candidate profile
Candidate should have working in sales and sourcing role with Product exposure in automation and electrical .
