Job Description
- As a CA or accounting graduate/postgraduate with 2-5 years of Record to Report experience, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and providing valuable insights to clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Understanding the purpose of reconciliations and approving bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations
- Preparing/reviewing clients" monthly financial statements, performing variance analysis, and providing actionable insights to client management
- Identifying opportunities to enhance clients" monthly operations and suggesting process improvements
- Defining and documenting repeatable methodologies with appropriate tools and templates for future projects
- Understanding the technology stack and identifying processes, systems, modules, and integrations to drive month-end close efficiencies
Qualifications required for this role are:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to balance multiple responsibilities, strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Experience in a public accounting firm, consulting firm, or other professional services environment is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, and adapt to change effectively
- Experience with automated accounting systems such as Intacct, NetSuite, Bill.com, Tallie
- Blackline experience is preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of GAAP
- Pursuing CPA or CPA certification is preferred
