Research & Development Analyst

The ideal candidate for this position should possess 3-5 years of experience in programming (quant modelling) or investment. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field is required. You should have a solid understanding of investment principles and asset classes, along with proficiency in Python and SQL (knowledge of R or C# is a plus). Experience with data visualization, web frameworks like Django, and DevOps toolkit such as GitLab and Octopus Deploy would be advantageous. Strong quantitative skills, problem-solving capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also necessary.

Special Requirements for this position include occasional weekend support.

Your responsibilities will include supporting and developing Python and SQL research code infrastructure and models, portfolio construction, backtesting research, assisting team members on research projects, ad-hoc data analysis, maintaining and monitoring automated model generation, and developing/maintaining databases and analytics dashboards to support research efforts.
