Assistant Manager Legal

Seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Real Estate Lawyer to manage legal aspects of real estate transactions, property development projects, and land-related matters in Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Maharashtra land laws, RERA regulations, along with strong negotiation and drafting skills.

Key Responsibilities

Draft, review and negotiate property-related agreements such as agreements for sale, development agreement, joint development agreements, sale deeds, conveyance deeds etc.).

Draft, review and negotiate contracts/agreements related to the support functions of the Company.

Conduct title due diligence, revenue record scrutiny, encumbrance checks and search reports.

Ensure compliance with Maharashtra-specific real estate laws, including MLRC, RERA, MOFA and other applicable legislations.

Handle RERA registrations, updates, and compliance filings.

Identify legal risks in transactions and propose mitigation strategies.

Provide opinions on property related issues.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: LL.B. / LL.M. from a recognized university.

Experience: Minimum 6 years of hands-on real estate legal practice, preferably in Maharashtra.

Strong knowledge of Maharashtra-specific property laws.

Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

Preferred Background

Prior work experience in a reputed law firm, real estate company, or corporate legal department.
