Junior Site Reliability Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support infrastructure and tools for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Automate software development and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the highest level of system availability and stability.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps methodologies into the software development lifecycle.
• 
  Document all processes and setups in detail to ease future reference and onboarding of new team members.
• Stay up to date with the latest DevOps technologies and trends.
• Manage code deployments (including fixes and updates)
• Manage related deployment processes (e.g., version control, rollbacks)

Skills & Experience

• Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines for software deployment (e.g., Azure Pipelines, Jenkins).

• Strong scripting skills in languages such as PowerShell, Bash or Python.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience setting up and managing a home lab environment.
• Understanding of network protocols and security best practices.
