Legal Manager

Role & responsibilities:

• Structure, negotiate, and close complex commercial agreements (including SLAs, supply and purchase contracts) ensuring alignment with business objectives and risk frameworks.
• Prepare and formalize legal instruments such as LOIs, MOUs, affidavits, and indemnities with a forward-looking approach to mitigate potential risks.
• Draft and review legal notices and responses with clarity and precision, ensuring effective articulation of the organizations position.
• Establish and maintain a structured and efficient agreement repository to enable easy access, compliance tracking, and governance.
• Drive end-to-end contract lifecycle management (CLM), including contract tracking, renewals, and compliance oversight to ensure effective governance across all agreements.
• Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders by addressing legal queries with practical, solution-oriented guidance.
  
• Collaborate with external counsels, legal experts, and regulatory authorities to drive favourable outcomes in legal matters.
• Support litigation management by preparing case briefs, documentation, and coordinating effectively with legal advisors.
• Manage disputes involving customers, vendors, and third parties by applying sound judgment and resolution strategies.
• Provide advisory on regulatory frameworks, ethical practices, and compliance requirements, including legal metrology laws related across business operations.
• Drive brand protection initiatives by supporting intellectual property rights (IPR), including trademarks and related enforcement, and contributing to legally sound business expansion efforts.

Preferred candidate profile:

1. Experienced in Handling Contract Lifecycle managements, IPR & Legal Metrology.
2. Must have team handling experience.
3. From Manufacturing, FMCG & FMCD background.
4. Legal Compliance understanding
