Accounting And Finance Analyst

PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Accounting and Finance Analyst is responsible for various corporate finance functions, including month-end closing, reporting and analysis, support statutory and internal audits, fixed asset administration, review & reporting of Internal controls for financial reporting & other ad hoc projects. (EMEA and India region)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Manage Statutory Audit, preparation of Financial Statements, Statutory compliances for respective Legal Entity and country.
• Perform monthly variance analysis vs. forecast and prior periods.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Review and improve internal controls and Accounting/Finance policies and procedures.
• Reports and administers Fixed Asset/Other Asset reporting and administration, including leading fixed asset verifications.
• Completes Internal control financial reporting (ICFR) testing and reporting, including planning and project management.
• Prepares GST/VAT tax filings and coordinates with Fortive corporate on state/federal tax compliance and accounting activities.

• Supporting Internal and SOX Audits
• Assists finance manager with ongoing and special projects as assigned, including implementation of new accounting standards.
• Knowledge of Transfer Pricing/Inter Company Accounting.
• Bachelors in accounting
• Qualified/Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant,
  

Experience Required

• 2-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Experience on Oracle Fusion/Net Suits/SAP/Black line Tools
