Job Description
- A QA/QC Mechanical engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality of HVAC, PHE, FF, and PNG systems and components. You will be required to inspect the quality of materials and workmanship, ensuring that the fabrication and installation of HVAC components meet technical specifications and construction codes. Additionally, you will be responsible for reviewing documentation such as TDS, MS, JC, quality plans, MIR, and other relevant documents. Maintaining records of inspections, tests, and audits, and preparing reports on the quality of the Mechanical systems will also be part of your role.
Collaboration with project teams is essential to ensure the integration of Mechanical systems and to communicate findings and recommendations to contractors, managers, and clients. Providing guidance and support to contractors and subcontractors on quality-related issues, as well as participating in training and development programs is also a key aspect of the role. It is imperative to stay updated with industry standards and codes, and to identify opportunities to enhance QA/QC processes.

QA/QC engineers are involved in all stages of the project, from design to installation. Therefore, a strong knowledge of the construction industry, previous issues, and an understanding of current methodologies are necessary. Furthermore, ensuring that HSE requirements are observed in the execution of all project activities is a critical part of the role.,
